The healthy Sun; our free medicine.

sunriseI have decided not to do a Liver cleanse starting today as the weather is so awful. Just rain, rain and more rain with a biting north easterly wind to boot. Not good for the spirit this sort of weather. This brings me on to an important health topic- the healing power of the SUN. Without this glorious energy source there would be no life on Earth as we know it. No humans, no animals, no trees, no grass, nothing living.

The SUN is the bringer of life. Most healthy people know

this deep within their souls. We love to go out and play in the Sun whenever we can. It’s effect on our spirit is is so invigorating and enlivening. We even look better after just a few hours in the sun’s rays.  Gone is the pallor of those winter months spent in our northern climate. Newton and Galileo we are told were great sun worshipers. These intellectual giants of our human history knew what was good for them. By comparison the latter day intellectual pygmies who tell us that the Sun is bad for us and then go on to tell us to keep away from it by hiding behind dark glasses and sun tan creams are quite simply wrong. If you want to learn more about all this then read Andreas Moritz’s book “Timeless Secrets of Health and Rejuvenation”. This is a veritable tour de  force through every aspect of natural health and methods of healing. One of the most important medicines that you can give yourself is the healing power of the sun’s rays every day if possible. Just an example from this brilliant book states “It has been known for some decades that people living mostly outdoors and at altitude or near the equator have the lowest incidence of skin cancers. As the evidence suggests those who work under artificial lighting have the highest incidence of skin cancers.” All interesting stuff and totally contrary to what we have been told by the so-called experts in this field. What field we might ask?  The field of well paid jobs, careers, self-interest and marketing of the highly lucrative sun blocks, glasses and dermatological treatments etc.etc..

We need the sun for good health. The minimum that our friend the Sun does is guarantee needed levels of vitamin D in our body. This vitamin is only just beginning to get the attention it deserves. It plays many key roles; the most well known being the absorption of the mineral calcium from our food. If you haven’t got adequate levels of vitamin D in your blood then you can’t absorb calcium from your food, hence weak and brittle bones. A lot of research now shows that the higher the latitude in the northern hemisphere i.e. less sun in winter the higher the incidence of osteoporosis and other vitamin D deficiency diseases. How anyone can ignore this causal link I don’t know and yet you still see people hiding from the sun because that is what they have been told by the majority of medical folk and the fawning media who follow these silly ideas without question. Fortunately there are still some investigative journalists around who are prepared to check stuff out for themselves. With the explosion in communications over the past 20 years or so checking things out for yourself is so much easier to do.

This knowledge is being ignored possibly withheld by the governing/controlling authorities at the main media level. Again how wonderful it is that via this medium of the internet we can all begin to access and share this important information. I suggest to any one of you reading this immediately start supplementing vitamin D and getting out in the sun as much as possible without all the silly protection. The protection is killing you more than the wonderful Sun. Get out there Guys. !! Throw away the fear that the media and the controlling agencies want you to have so that you become enslaved to their wares.
